Some mentions

jueves, 9 de agosto de 2012

Hi everyone ^^ Today we're back because it's a very special week, and it's because these last days have been very special ones for the blog Tea in the Clockwork Yard. I guess you're asking why, so now we'll give you some explanations.

In first place it must be said that the Gatehouse Gazette is a regular publishing in English about Steampunk and Dieselpunk that has been published since 2008, so we're talking about an outstanding work in these themes. And in the last number, that you can read here, José Francisco Alfaya, friend and follower of this blog and creator of the steampunk jewellery brand Decimononic, made a report about the situation of the Steampunk in Spain, and, although short, Tea in the Clockwork Yard has its own mention among the few blogs of this movement in the national scene. It's not a whole report, but we're more than proud of it. Take a look to the gazette, because it's great.

In the other side, in this report itsself, is mentioned Plan B, a platform ruled by Josué Ramos, close friend, follower of this blog and writter, a project that takes short stories in Spanish also about steampunk themes and the one I had the pleasure to participate in in Volumen 0, as author of Crónica de un desfalco (Chronicle of a theft). In this platform, where we will see lately some collaborations of people like Jeff Vandermeer, is making some interviews to these new writters, and this week was my turn, so here it is the link to the interview.

This project went out from a bigger one, Ácronos, the first anthology that has short stories by the whole community of Spanish-speaking authors, where I had the pleasure of participate in the prologue, so we will bring some news when it will see the light in a couple of months. I cheer you up to all those who want to write anything, about steampunk themes or not (because there will be different calls), to participate in Plan B.

Thanks for being there and make this blog to get bigger and bigger little by little ^^ See you soon.
